Membership Information
Membership in the Society is open to anyone with an interest in protozoa or protists, and offers an opportunity to interact with a diverse group of international researchers. Membership includes a subscription to the Journal of Eukaryotic Microbiology as well as other Society publications.
NEW MEMBER OFFERS:To encourage anybody interested in protists to join ISOP and discover the benefits of belonging to our dynamic organization, ISOP has approved two special offers for any NEW member:

2) Free trial membership. The one-year trial membership includes full on-line access to the journal and other society publications, and eligibility for travel grants and awards. It does not include other benefits such as discounts on meetings or page charges, or the free copy of IG2.

This will automatically generate your membership form.
If you wish to pay by credit card, you can renew online. Members who need to pay by check, bank transfer, or other methods can renew by mail.
Student Membership is available to students upon certification
of student status by a member or the Department Chairperson. Student members
have the privileges of regular members and receive all of the publications
of the Society.
Corresponding Membership is available to persons whose legal residence
is outside the USA, Canada, and Mexico; and to spouses of members. Corresponding
members have the privileges of regular members and receive the publications
of the Society, with the exception of The Journal of Eukaryotic Microbiology.
The Society also periodically elects distinguished protistologists as
honorary members. A list of those
so honored is available.
The Society Officers will be glad to answer questions about the Society or its activities.
